Meet the Ella Shorts — your new favourite summer staple!
Designed to be both comfortable and chic, the Ella Shorts feature a relaxed fit with a flattering mid rise, playful side bows, and just the right amount of ease for warm, sunny days.

Whether you’re spending a lazy Sunday at the café, heading to the beach, or simply lounging at home, the Ella Shorts add a touch of effortless style to your handmade wardrobe.

Perfect for confident beginners and experienced sewists alike, this pattern includes detailed instructions to guide you step-by-step — no overlocker needed, just your sewing machine and a little creativity!

Pattern Includes:

  • 2 digital sewing patterns, one classic and one wide option including a pocket pattern (you’ll receive a download link via email after purchase – don’t forget to check your spam folder!)

  • Pattern files in A0, A4, and US Letter

  • Sizes XXS – XXL (all included in one file)

  • I use my overlocker in the tutorial, but don’t worry if you don’t have one – you can simply use your regular sewing machine with a zigzag stitch to finish the raw edges, they will be hidden on the inside. I do recommend either way to finishing the edges to make your piece last in the wash.
